PRELUDIUM grant awarded to Daria Dawidziak

We are very happy to obtain funding from the National Science Centre, Poland in the highly competitive PRELUDIUM 19 call (NZ1 panel results).

Our PhD student Daria Dawidziak was awarded PLN 138 360 for an ambitious 2-year project "FAST interactions in cell death regulation" to study the non-mitochondrial protein partners and RNA targets of human FASTK and their role in the regulation of cell death and survival.

Prof. Krzysztof Woźniak as the Head of our Core Facility for Crystallization and Biophysics will also serve as our mentor for crystallographic studies of FAST complexes.
