OPUS grant funding in our laboratory

Dr Maria Górna received 2 981 200 PLN funding from the National Science Centre, Poland, in the OPUS programme addressed at researchers at any stage of their research careers, towards innovative basic research. In the 21st edition of the programme, researchers submitted 2314 OPUS proposals with an 18% success rate. Our project proposal "IFIT proteins in the regulation of inflammatory responses" was ranked first in the NZ2 panel!

This funding award will let us continue our research on the properties and function of IFIT proteins, this time with the focus on basic research regarding IFIT2 and its role in immune cells.
