A pioneering adventure by Matylda Izert - the first way to do protein knockdown in E. coli of unmodified, degronless targets. Using just simple expression from a plasmid encoding a fusion peptide - "CLIPPER" acting as BacPROTAC. Even tough GroEL went down!

Coming out with this work is also the first novel cryoEM structure obtained completely at the University of Warsaw - our Glacios microscope is functioning at its best in the hands of dr Tomasz Góral.
