Kuba awarded PRELUDIUM grant
Nov 28, 2025Mgr Jakub Kowalski obtained PLN 210 000 funding in the competitive PRELUDIUM 24 call of the National Science Centre, Poland. Kuba's project #2025/57/N/NZ2/05027 "Mechanisms of IFIT autoregulation and their functional significance" will study regulation of IFIT expression by IFIT proteins, which may reveal new ways to intervene in the innate immune response. If successful, the results of the project may serve to improve the design of mRNA vaccines and therapies.
