2026 Nobel Week at the University of Warsaw

The Centre for Cooperation and Dialogue (CWiD) of the University of Warsaw organized the annual Nobel Week celebrations. Maria Górna was among the experts from the Department of Chemistry invited to comment on the live transmission of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry award ceremony.

The Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2026 was awarded to Prof. Henri Kagan and Prof. Kenso Soai “for the discovery of non-linear effects and autocatalysis in asymmetric organic synthesis”.

Maria's commentary was cited by Gazeta Wyborcza, Nauka w Polsce, Polish Press Agency, Wszystko co najważniejsze, and other media outlets covering this year's Nobel Prize in Chemistry. Maria gave also a brief interview for Radio Trójka, Radio Kampus, Radio dla Ciebie and TVN.
